Title: Question on MONTANA Deer hunts...

If you apply for the General Deer Combination (The 550.00 tag) for non residents, does that mean you can hunt in any unit in the state if you draw?  The Montana regulations may actually be more confusing then Washington's...

Yes, you can hunt any general season (non-draw) season with the general tag.

What I guess I'm asking, is that say if I draw the General Combination Deer...I can hunt in Unit 704 from October 22nd-November 28th...am I reading that correct?

Some units are not open until the end of November. Make sure you check your unit

You can hunt the 700 units like you said but some have trophy area units like 270 that you have to put in be drawn for.
