Three steps, another yote with a handgun :chuckle:
-

-
30 yards 22 mag
-
20 feet with the old 12 gauge. :IBCOOL:

About 5 yards with a 12 gauge full choke. I was trying to call in a turkey when I heard somthing coming behind me. I slowly turned my head to see a coyote running full tilt towards me. I picked up the gun and fired...it left a pretty nasty looking hole in him at that distance.

point blank..
-
Two feet, 30-06 200 grain Nozler partition, end of nose out the ass. TUBE SKINNED LOL
-
With in ten feet a few times and Im not sure how many under 20yds
-
A couple with hair on the muzzle. A few more close enough to still get powder burns.
-
About 6-8 feet with a Jennings J22 pocket pistol.

I did that same shot in reverse, little farther away, with a .300 Win. Mag. Hit it at the base of the tail, ran the length of the spine and blew the skull off the lower jaw. Looked like I ran it over with an industrial mower.

15 ft 300wsm 185 gr berger VLD @ 3000fps. you could say it was cavitated :P
-
Why do I find some of these scenarios so funny.......... :dunno:
:chuckle:
-
A couple steps with a .300 win mag while I was elk hunting. It made a mess....
-
Couple steps with a 12 guage
-
Belly crawling while jump shooting a duck pond -- I saw a yote about 20 yds and closing right towards me (he saw my buddy sneaking on the other side of the lake). I froze and put my head down. I peeked up when he was basically a couple feet or closer away. He froze and I touched off. 3" high base duck loads flipped him, :chuckle: Funny thing is, of all hundreds of yotes I've killed with a rifle (a lot of calling), the closest I've probably shot was 20 yds.

Too bad this wasn't about Bobcats, point blank under a porch.
63 yards on a coyote.
-
20 feet with the old 12 gauge. :IBCOOL:
About the same for me too.
-
9 feet...300 weatherby mag...started as one then became two coyotes
-
3 ft with a .204 ruger. Called her in close! :)
Bobcat at two feet with the same gun.

Bobcat at two feet with the same gun.
In a trap? If that's the case, then I've killed several at mere inches away. :chuckle:
-
:) not in a trap. I followed him into a rock pile and got him trapped in a seam in the rocks...long story, but I ended up shooting him and he fell out of the bluff ~100 ft.
-
30 yards with a 300WSM to the face. I turned his head into a canoe :yike:
-
2 3/8 inches with .338 win mag. One thing i did learn though is next time ill close the scope cap :dunno:
-
Shot one at about two feet with my 12 gauge. It came in on me when i was in my final approach blind while goose hunting.
-
30 yards 30/06 all I saw in the scope was fur but then I said to myself is it really going to matter where I hit it with a 30/06 :chuckle:
I ended up hitting it where the lung heart area is or was
-
10yds! Grouse hunting in open timber with 12ga. #7 to the side of his face pretty much rocked his world. (Then a couple of followup shots at closer range) Scraggly mut. I think I woke him up from a nap on the opposite side of a bush.

Ive only shoot one so its my closets and farthest :chuckle:. Put him down at about 100 yards while he was walking by with my .243 Browning A-bolt.
-
About 10 feet hahaha, killed it with 7 1/2 shot and blew a hole on it the size of my fist. Long story short I ran up over these rocks I saw it walk over and it was standing there :chuckle:
