anyone on here ever get drawn for that permit? so much talk about how good it is but i never see any pictures or read any stories about anyone holding the tag or harvesting an animal.
There have been several threads, and pics on here about it.
The drawing will held sometime in the next month, most likely. They make sure to have the drawing before the state deadline. They have to manually enter all the information on all 1200 permits before they can hold the drawing, and there are only a couple of ladies working there.

Which Hancock property has the draw, also is it draw only for all of elk season? Modern, archery, etc.?
Only the Kapowsin farm
For some reason I dont get why people only say Hancock when they mean Kapowsin. Hancock has hundreds of thousands of acres all over this state, how about we be a little precise when we talk about things.....

I worked up there about half of last summer, and above Wilkeson the other half. Some bruisers for sure. Here's one of the keepers I got pictures of on the TC. Unfortunately the camera wasn't secured well and it got knocked to the side when they got curious. . .

I beleive cougkilrs father shot the state record cascade/rosie out of there correct me if im wrong. I think thats the best west side tag to have...even better than nooksack
Without question, the best tag in the state for 'roosevelts'.

It would be tough to choose which tag to pick up, archery season would kick butt but then so does muzzy. Then of course the success of having a rifle in you hand and being able to shoot a lot farther is inticing also, I hope it's a tough decision I have to make. I still don't know exactly what I would choose. How about you guys????

Historically, the tree farm is often closed during most, if not all of archery season, so I would choose muzzy or modern. The bulls up there are fairly vocal, so I would probably choose muzzy. They also seem to still be rutting during and even after the muzzy season. I'm just waiting for a phone call, so I can make my decision.
