Here is Echo with her first mole kill of the Spring. It was a big one (8" nose to tail). Last year she racked up 17 kills. We'll see how the old girl does this season. With the size of this one, she might be trophy hunting...

My chocolate does attempts the same thing.... looks like she is given you the stink eye for touching her trophy. Gotta love labs!!
-
Goldeneye,, be careful.. you might have Rasbo hunting in your yard, for those trophy moles... :chuckle: :chuckle:
He likes making thongs from the skins ... :bdid: :yike: :chuckle: :chuckle:
-
My lab used to do that too :chuckle:
-
she has that caught her hand in the cookie jar look!!
-
She is just real proud and possessive when she gets a mole. She really doesn't want me taking her trophy. That's the look I'm getting. It's the you aren't gonna take my mole look! Labs can be so expressive...
-
I think she may need to meet rasbo...they share a common interest ...and thats a nice mole not sure we have a canine division in the trophy mole books :dunno:
-
Does your dog travel....to do hits on terrorizing moles?
-
The Mole Hunter is teaching the next generation. Bella is 10 weeks old. Echo is 11.5 years. Echo's mole kill count for the year is 9 so far.

that is awesome and that is a big ol mole...nice one
-
Man that is great :IBCOOL: Rasbo needs one of those pups :IBCOOL:

I can't get my lab to go after moles, just stray cats, rabbits and other small game (above ground). I have to deal with the moles myself and my 12 guage... Its a Blast! lol
-
I had to trap (which now is illegal..i think) the ugly things. My next lab will be mole certified!

This is what happens when the ground is really wet and soft.. you lose half the Mole.
