Title: Teanaway Youth Turkey
Post by: rosscrazyelk on March 14, 2011, 05:38:54 PM: Anyone gonna be in the area that is really good at calling? Wanna help a 11 year old get her first turkey? I am so so and I really want to get my neice her turkey? I am not afraid to go at it alone but if you are a for sure caller I could use your help.....
Either way hope everyone is successful and has a good season..

you can get a tom decoy if you want. I have only used the hens and they work fine.

Post by: kevinlisa06 on March 16, 2011, 08:00:12 PM: I have a Bmobile tom decoy but have never tried it. I dont doube that they work but on public land you better be sure no one else is around you? Actually I have never killed a bird using dekes. Just keep practicing them calls. Im taking my 15 year old up into a honey hole of mine this spring for the youth hunt, sure hope he puts the smack down on a bird this year.
