knucklebuster... 1:1 ratio, easily adjustable drag system, high capacity...
anybody ever do it? im seriously considering sticking my diawa mooching reel on my spey rod... dont see why it wouldnt work... with my spey being my new saltwater flyrod, having all the extra backing sounds like a good idea...
only drawback i can see is its alot bulkier than an actual fly reel
just an idea... one less thing to buy... :dunno:
im probably going to get an okuma slv 10/11 down the road, but.. just something i was wondering... afterall i mean what is a fly reel? something that holds line with a drag system right?
