from what ive seen sako has a 5 shot 1" grantee and that seems like its been the best factory grantee ive seen. anyone know of any others? again factory rifles lets say under 1500$
-
NOSLER check out there rifles. There basic garantee 1" on there basic rifle at 1500.00. There 1500+ rifles are 3/4". They are some great guns!!!

T/C might also have one? Seems like I have seen some adds about it.

Rock River Predator Pursuit and Varmint are guaranteed 3/4"....I can attest.
-
Most Rem 700s shoot about 1moa out of the box for a lot less than 1500 bucks. Plus a good free float and bed job will even improve that.
-
Cooper is guaranteed to shoot 1/2". Good luck with your sako. Never again for me. Their customer service is now owned by beretta and it stinks.
-
There customer servise does suck! But they still make a hell of a gun. :IBCOOL:

i dont have a sako i was just using it as an example, ied kill to own a cooper just dont think i can bring myself to ever spend that much on a rifle. im just simply trying to figure out what company's back there product. Im tryin to do as much research and get as much knowledge from real ppl that have used the guns before i decide on my next rifle.

unless you bought the one I did. their cs sucked so bad I told the to keep the gun......after they asked for a $200 ransom for warranty work.

I just saw this today...
All Weatherby Vanguards.. ALL OF THEM.. are now going to be guaranteed 1" MOA (3 shot group at 100 yards) includes vastly improved trigger and newer type all weather stock.

These rifles are actually Howa's made for Weatherby.. you could probably get this rifle for under 900.
IMHO.. these are the BEST bang for your buck rifles from the factory today.

Or you could just buy the HOWA?
-
Not really.. You could! Howa is going to sell a bunch on their own.. however they dont offer an accuracy guarantee.. they specifically set aside the ones that shoot under an inch for weatherby and send it to them. NOW.. more than likely you could probably just buy a new Howa and see how it shoots and probably get pretty close if not the same accuracy.. especially if you handload.
BUT.. unless Howa starts guaranteeing accuracy too then the Weatherby Howa (as I like to call them) is the only Howa that will give you "off the shelf and from the the factory" accuracy.

T/C Venture, guaranteed 1 MOA
They have a few other models that are 1/2 MOA

who told you that? I have a hard time believing that howa waits to engrave their actions till they see how it shoots after it is fitted and shot.
-
I read this was the procedure when looking into Howa/Weatherby/S&W 1500/Mossberg.. the process might have changed, but that is the research I found online.

Accuracy guarantees aren't everything. My son's Marlin (for a whole lot less than others cost), shoots MOA out of the box after barrel break-in. Many Savages and Remingtons will shoot very well.
