i encourage anyone that has a hunting dog to come down to sweethome, Or. and learn to play the bird dog challenge this Saturday march 26Th. They are having their annual fun day. Not positive but i think it costs $20 per dog and $10 per bird, buy as many birds as you want. There will be experienced players there to explain the game and teach you a few pointers. Very easy to learn, any hunting dog can play, if they can find birds and retrieve that's all you need. Flushing and pointing breeds. check out the website at www.oregonbirddogchallenge.com (http://www.oregonbirddogchallenge.com) first real tournament is April 17Th. message me if you have any questions, i started playing 3 years ago and am hooked!

Pointer this looks really interesting. Do you have to pay the $50 annual membership to compete in the tournaments? Also where do they usually hold these events? If it is near Portland it might be viable, but further south might be questionable. One last question how much is it for youths to compete?
