Title: A trio of Mallards
Post by: Elkstuffer on March 29, 2011, 09:57:24 AM
This was a fun mount to put together. The customer didn't want the flushing drake to look like a skewered duck:). If you look close enough the left little toe is barely touching the driftwood. I had to use a pretty heavy gauged wire to support it. He was extremely happy.

I don't see how he couldn't be happy w/ that kind of work.. You are a great artist.. I'm not into duck mounts much, but that is real life.

Thanks Benchleg. Appreciate the compliment. You need to start killing some ducks to go into your new shop :)
