I just got my first rifle. It is not brand new but for number one it will do just fine. It is a Browning A-bolt in .270WSM. blued walnut I got it for $440 otd. I will post pics shortly. It has a few dings and the barrel was not properly floating but all in all a good looking gun. Will keep you posted after sighting it in.

I still have my first rifle. Give yourself opportunity to associate some memories with that rifle ;)

My Dad handed my my first rifle for my first Elk Hunt in 1990 when I was 13. I have other guns now, but it is the only guy I hunt with. A 1971 Remington 700 in 7RM that shoots 3/4" MOA at 100yds with factory Federal Premium 160gr Barnes TSX. Emotional attachment, and performance to boot. Taken all of my "firsts" and hope to add Moose and Mountain Goat to it's list this fall on a BC hunt.

Yeah i will post pic tomorrow.. I went and bought a box of ammo and went and sighted it in about a week ago and it took 5 shots to sight in and shot the rest at a few small things.. shoots great though. I love it.. Just have to clean up the few dings and scuffs and i will be good for modern, super excited.
