Title: Brown trout
Post by: HoofsandWings on April 04, 2011, 09:28:20 PM: This summer I will be heading to a lake with brown trout. Fished it several times before. Last time I sprung a leak in the rubber raft.
Why do they have drain plugs in the bottom of the boat? This year I am supergluing all the plugs.
The lake is famous for its wind/strong breeze. I troll with with wind. Hopefully this year I wll catch one of those bucket fish usually around 18 inches. The locals laugh at me and come back with limits of bucket fish. I think this will be 10 years in trying to catch one.
I am going to troll flies this year.

Browns lose their minds when they see them.

caught some nice ones east couple years ago. It's nice to see something different from the rainbows.
