Title: Early season archery?
Post by: muleyslayer#1 on April 07, 2011, 02:17:29 AM: I was wondering where is a good place to go for early season archery I have three places 1. Kettle falls 2. Entiat 3. Teanaway... It would be nice to get some info Thanks!

Post by: mallard79 on April 07, 2011, 07:13:42 PM: Never hunted Kettle Falls or Entat. Teanaway is ok if you do a ton of scouting. If you are looking for a big dear plan on one hell of a hike with a lot of elevation gain or bring a motorcycle or horse and hit a trail and get waaaayy back in past where most hunters stop. :twocents:

Post by: UBA on April 07, 2011, 09:19:13 PM: I dont know about the other units but i have some knowledge of the Entiat. The deer are there but you will be hunting all local deer. There are some nice deer but most all of them are of the smaller variety. 99% mule deer with a few whitetails.
