Title: Dayton: early archery deer
Post by: steve04 on April 07, 2011, 08:31:27 AM: Anybody hunt the Dayton unit for early archery deer? Ive hunted there the past two years with no success but seen plenty of deer. Is there any info/advice anyone can give......still kinda new to the whole bowhunting thing. thanks.

Post by: 400out on April 07, 2011, 09:15:47 AM: get up in the area you hunt and put in some miles looking for trails into timber or canyon heads and use those other hunters to you advantage the deer will be starting to get edgy and will start to move into bedding early and coming out late :twocents:

Man they are worse :bash: :bash: no wonder all the elk ran away! Between them and the unspoken entity I would leave too :'(
