Anybody hunt the Dayton unit for early archery deer? Ive hunted there the past two years with no success but seen plenty of deer. Is there any info/advice anyone can give......still kinda new to the whole bowhunting thing. thanks.

I don't hunt that season but I do spend a fair amount of time in the unit that time of year, Drop me a line sometime and I would be glad to show you the places I think would be good for that season.

get up in the area you hunt and put in some miles looking for trails into timber or canyon heads and use those other hunters to you advantage the deer will be starting to get edgy and will start to move into bedding early and coming out late :twocents:

You don't see elk hunters up there, just campers.
