Title: Less than a week away

Do you have your gear ready?
Some of us have put on or taken off a few pounds.
Have you tried on your gear to make sure it fits?
Nothing like waking up at 3:30am and find things don't fit like last year.

A hunting friend last year saw a turkey, aimed and heard a click. Firing pin needed attention.
You need to make sure that when you pull the trigger, something expectant happens.
I called the landowneer that I hunt on his land. He told me turkeys were everywhere.
He had to honk his horn to get out of the driveway.

Yeah, took out the Remington for a final round of patterning last week to make double sure everything is ready.  Definitely pulling everything out to look it over.  Especially this year in the NE where it looks like we're gonna need gear for all weather.  The weather report's been crazy variable so far.
