Title: Special Permits Apps???
Post by: rtspring on April 16, 2011, 02:06:38 PM: I purchased my Tags and Specail Permit hunts today, But when i try to put in my numbers for the permit apps it says I have none to submit.

I am guessing it takes a while for the computers to catch up knowinng that I just purchased them...

anyone else have this isuue??? and do i just need to wait a while to submit my hunt #s??

Post by: JimmyHoffa on April 16, 2011, 02:10:01 PM: I think the new regs book said to enter between the 18th of April and some time in May. I think you need to wait until Monday. Unless you are applying for the same hunts as me, then enter in June. :chuckle:

I didnt bother to look at the dates when to submit. I think before you could do it all at the same time...

Kinda of a pain for me, I am in Tonga, it the southern Pacific Ocean.....

thanks, Tonga is crazy, they got pigs runnning all over the street and i mean tons of them. And a whole bucnh of dogs. But you cannot pet or try to hurt any of them or you go directly to jail here. Can't even take your shirt off in public, another trip to jail...

and they eat dog like chicken....... tried some, taste about what you would think dog tastes like........dog :chuckle: :chuckle:

Once upon a time I bought a 100 pounds of "Live Rock" from there and had it FED EXed' to my house. (Theres a sucker born every minute) Watch out there, at that price even the rock is probably sacred.

I assume that the 18th would be for the Pacific Time Zone....since apparently you will start your 18th way ahead of us. I would think you would be too busy catching tuna and marlin there anyways. :chuckle:

half of this place dont even have power, and we were told not under any circumstances do you drink the water.......

I wanna kill me a pig though.......i am working on that one........gonna give up a hell of alot of NAVY stuff to make a deal

And with elk I'm actually considering going with an archery tag, instead of muzzleloader. Really need a hard copy of the regulations so I can bring it to bed with me and go over it every night for a couple weeks so I can sleep on it. The answers will come to me... :)

I understand that. I still don't know what i'm going to do. I need a hard copy. But I don't think I will take it to bed with me. :chuckle:

Everytime I see the word tonga I instantly think, dont flip off a bus load of them! Sorry for the hi-jac just couldnt help it.

Ghost points on Quality Elk as there is nothing on the westside that I am willing to burn 14 points on. Not really anything in the Bull Elk category either, but I'm 99.9% sure I won't draw the tag I'm applying for. If I do, it will be a bonus.

I have already started putting money away for gas, with a built Big Block Chevy, Turbo 400 and 4.10 gears with NO overdrive I have to be $$$$ ahead this year.
