Title: Pearrygin Unit land ownership?
Post by: Cougeyes on April 17, 2011, 12:29:02 PM: Does the Pearrygin unit have a lot of public land where the migrators come through or does it hold a lot of public ground? Have a lot of deer points and am trying to narrow my 2 choices down.

A lot of private land with many hunters. What's your next choice.

You've got to be joking? Only 15 permits and plenty of state land and National Forest. :dunno:

You will not have to drive 11/2 miles from town to bag a good one ...

Post by: Drop-tine on April 18, 2011, 11:30:30 AM: There are some studs in this unit I live in conconully and the unit is straight up my hill, I drive it in the late season and see some monsters! two years ago I seen a massive 4x4 with double 10 inch drop tines! go figure the batteries are dead in my camera :bash: you cant go wrong putting in for the pearrygin unit!
