Title: The boys first buck.
Post by: 3nails on April 23, 2011, 07:12:42 PM: 20" wide 4x4 high country blacktail. Might be awhile before he gets a bigger one. Says he'll shoot a spike opening day if he sees one.

Post by: 3nails on April 24, 2011, 12:53:42 PM: This was the only high country buck we've ever got out whole. He was only about 1.5 miles and 2,000' up off of an old road. We drug (rolled) him down a shale chute. Field dressed at 230 lbs. I've only killed three blacktails with bigger bodies.
