Title: Selah butte sheep unit
Post by: argali on April 23, 2011, 08:45:19 PM: Well its that time of yr to put in for special hunts! Is anyone on this site familar w/ the selah butte unit, how much of it is public land? etc. Thanks argali

And they've got them 8-10 foot rattlesnakes that are active year round! :chuckle:

Post by: 180-GRAIN on May 03, 2011, 09:20:55 AM: My dad was drawn for that unit in 2008, there is a little public land on the south portion of the unit and that is where he eventually took his ram. As for the private property there is a ranch about half way through the canyon that will allow you to hunt the rest of the property for a fee, it was $400 bucks when my old man went not sure if it is the same or if they even let you hunt anymore?
