Title: Turkey hunting question
Post by: jsharptooth91 on April 24, 2011, 03:45:33 AM
I am beginning to turkey hunt this year, reading through the regulations. It looks like hunter orange is required for turkey hunting, is this correct?
Sorry for the simple question, just making sure.

Negative, hunter orange is not required to hunt turkeys.  Although some hunters probably should be required to wear hunter orange.

Hunter orange is NOT required to hunt turkey.  I carry an orange vest for my walk out with my bird, so there are no mistakes, but it is not required.
