OK, so after a long decision about purchasing a Game Camera I have decided to pick up one on eBay. I only spent $78 for my first cam and I think now I understand a little more about the features that you get with the different cameras. So I purchased a Moultrie Cam 5.0 MP with IR and I put a 1GB SD card in it. I think it is a descent one for my first camera. My goal was to put it in an area that I know where there are a Few Deer and a Couple of Older Blackie Boys calling my name. I placed my camera in an area that is just off a trail that is used by deer and possible other game. I put out a 50lb bag of Wet Cob and a 50lb mineral block. I need to find some great deals on APPLES (any ideas?)! So, I let it soak just over 2 weeks and I was hoping to get some pix of some of the deer in the area. After retrieving my SD card and down loading the pictures on my Lap Top, I only got 1 picture of a deer and many pix of some yotes. I noticed that the pickers were around the area not too far from my camera and I think this had to do with the lack of deer in the pix, or possibly the yotes in the area? I think it's time to call in some coyotes and practice sighting in my bow!!

Yote hunting is never a bad idea!

Well at least you got something there Paul, give me a call sometime and we'll blast some yotes! I've got mine hanging out there now. Going to wait about another week to see what it brings in. This odd-ball weather should make the deer move around more and the bucks should be coming into velvet any time now. :)

Here are a few pics from the last week since I checked my camera. I have a big issue with the Yotes, they are marking the area up pretty good. I will not be able to get back out for a few weeks. :bash: :bash: :bash:
How Long do you think I have before the deer leave the area?
And, what is the best way to call in Yotes? It's been about 20 years since I've done this in Arizona, and I still have my hand predator call I used for Yotes and Fox.

I have a fox-pro you can use any time and a TON of hand calls. I'll stop by the shop one of these days and go over some of the calls I use what sounds I use as well. If the yotes are as active as what the picks make it look...you should have no issue downing a dawg!

James, should be no problem! They are around all the time!! :bash: :bash: Some of the pics I have them in and around for most of the day feeding on my Wet Cob :bash: :bash:.
Stop by the shop and we can set up a time to go for a little target practice.

Very pregnant does and thin coyotes. I wanderer how the pups are doing on a partial corn diet?
