Title: Backwoods Girl needs a bow.....(GOT ONE!)
Post by: backwoods_boy on May 01, 2011, 02:26:44 PM: Just doing some looking around for a used Youth/womens bow. We both got multi season deer tags and she is ready to try the stick and string.
Something that is ready to hunt. 30-50 lbs adjustable and maybe 26-28 draw length.
Not looking to spend a ton of cash.

Martin's are a little less money than the companies with more advertising budget, ie. mathews, hoyt, bowtech, but i've had good luck with the ones i've had. i'd hunt archerytalk classifieds and ebay. there are some good deals out there. just make sure you get one with lots of adjustment.

a member of our archery club has a 2003 Martin Magnum Altitude for sale. lots of adjustment.

Just so you know, the bow in the pics is upside down. Whisker Buiskits are good at containing the arrow, but there might be some issues.... :chuckle: :chuckle:
