Title: Not a good pic....see these much?
Post by: Hornseeker on May 03, 2011, 08:59:08 AM: My dad has had these FLOOD his feeder in N. Idaho lately. Evening Grosbeaks. I'm not sure I've seen one in person... that lime green bill is interesting!

Post by: boneaddict on May 03, 2011, 10:12:41 AM: I can't see the pic( at work), but run into them alot in the mountains. THey are so ugly they are almost cool/pretty. I'd like to see a red one. I guess we have them but never have seen them.

I dont know about ugly Doug...I see what you are saying I guess... but they are ugly like a moose it ugly....

Post by: Dmanmastertracker on May 03, 2011, 08:52:26 PM: They are inquisitive too. I've seen the black-headed and evening grosbeak's, but we also have the pine grosbeak, which I have yet to photograph. You need to be up pretty high to see them, at least higher than my house. :chuckle:
