I couldn't resist taking this shot the other day because the sun was super bright and shining through this plant thus making it glow. I bet you don't know what it is! :)

skunk cabbage?
Dang! That was Quick! :) It really stunk (pun intended!) getting that close to the plant with a 40 mm lens to take the shot, but I think it turned out pretty darned good.

pretty.... skunk cabbage are really kinda cool except for the smell....however they have nothing on the Amorphophallus they reek to high heaven some are really pretty others are slightly perverse double check that name there its a clue ;) I was introduced to these when a friend asked me about a flower growing in her yard I had no idea it wasnt a native plant and she hadn't planted it but had lived there for about 3 years and this was the first time it showed up.....it was really quite pretty at first then it began to stink like rotting flesh :puke: didnt have the internet back then so I had to dig around at the library. They all come from the same family of plants.
