:bash: i clicked the submit button before i put in for my second choice of the dayton unit, hopefully 11 pts will earn me a tucannon tag.
-
sometimes it's better to make only one choice....good luck! ;)

Just call the Olympia WDFW office tomorrow morning and they should be able to get it straightened out. I believe 360-902-2515 will get you to the right people.
-
I think they will change it but it will have to be before Wednesday.
-
they will change it, I've already had stuff changed around this year. I put in for the tucannon also, so i can't wish you too much luck. What weapon did you put in for? Myself I put in for the muzzy with 16 points.
-
I put in for modern with 11 pts, good luck to ya! do you know the area well trophy?
-
just being a smart alek :chuckle: call 911

Doesn't the second choice only get used if the tags for a given hunt don't get filled on the first draw. If so, there's basically zero chance of a second draw in Dayton anyway so you will never have to worry about forgetting to add that to your choices. I think that tag will never get filled with a second choice pick.

No.
They go by the priority of your choices. A few second choice applicants got drawn in Dayton, simply because their first choice was already filled.

:yeah:
They simply put all the names in the hat times the number of their points squared and start drawing. A name gets drawn, then they look at which units that person applied for: 1st and 2nd choice both. If there's any tags left in either hunt, then that person gets a tag in that hunt. If not, then that person sees "Not Selected" on their results, even though they were selected for a chance to see if there were any tags left for what they applied for.

Thanks for clarifying. I guess Washington's draw process is different from Idaho's in that respect. I certainly didn't want to mislead anyone and was making that assumption based on an Ask Fish and Game article I read. Guess I better get my second choices in :)
-
you are better with the tucannon tag anyway. The harvest report fro last year read 100% for rifle if I read it right
-
you guys crack me up :chuckle: :chuckle: none of us are goin to draw anyways (hence the 16 pts) :bash: :bash:
-
Don't be stupid! call the wdfw and have it changed! put all you points into colockum ;) Haven't you been reading all the post this winter :bash: :bash: :bash: ;)
