Title: Looking for a Clear Duracoat or Cerakote for Marlin 1895G
Post by: MDGrand on May 17, 2011, 02:07:50 PM
So all of you out there who have done a Duracoat or a Cerakoat on your firearm, I am looking to get one applied, preferrably a clear application if possible on my Marlin 1895G. The Metal is Blued, but the carbine will be used mostly in the thick wet side and I want to get this rifle pretty weather proof.

Thoughts, recommendations?

Thank you!

Had my Marlin 336 done by Marcus at www.celticarmory.com (http://www.celticarmory.com) in Port orchard ,he used durabake and I love the finish. He only charged me 50.00 but said he would raise his price to 100.00 as it took 6 hrs to do mine.
