Hence my reasoning for thinking the 10th/9th.
I think the official results came out on Tuesday after fathers day.

I guessed longer so that I wouldn't be disappointed if it didn't happen and they took a few days longer. I don't want to burn up another keyboard checking the back door results multiple times per day.

I thought it was on the 25th Last year , but could have been the 18th......

I agree. Having to wait to gloat over you all about my success this year has been very difficult. Please draw my second elk soon so that the healing for the rest of HW can begin!

I got an email today from GA/CMS and some of them are taking Thursday and others taking Friday as furlough days so they can continue operating 5 days a week.

Just curious - How often is everyone checking the back door? I hate to admit it but check it a minimum of 5 times a day. I keep thinking that it is going to be different. Now look who is stupid..LOL :hello:

I read in the newspaper that tomorrow is in fact a furlough day for the WDFW. So tomorrow is not a good bet for results being out. But I'm still hoping. If not, maybe Monday.

Idaho has not completed their draw for controlled hunts yet. Moose, Bighorn, and Mountain Goat has been done but CH permits for deer and elk have yet to be drawn. In fact, their deadline for applying for deer and elk is after ours (Deadline was 05JUN this year).

I'm waiting for both WA and ID. Keeping my fingers crossed!

You and me both. I don't know why I get excited though, I've only drawn once outside of a doe tag here and there and that was three years ago (Idaho CH Deer).

And we use to have to wait till we got home or to work to use the phone, chatting was done via the post office and if you needed to know something you went to the library. Come on it's just a push of the ENTER button! Push the damn thing already so I can go back to stressing on something less important! :dunno:

Go to the WDFW website and go to hunting then click on submit special permit. Follow the directions after that and I believe that is what they are talking about. It doesn't show what you drew just if they have been drawn.

It seems like Washington's is always right after Oregon's results, at least I think it's been that way the last couple of years. Outdoor Central does theirs as well.

It actually says by June 30th. It normally says that and they release the results sometime prior to that. Typically sometime around 17 or 18th...
