Title: Cooper Arms of Montana, Cooper Classic?
Post by: GlennGTR on May 20, 2011, 05:49:30 PM: I am almost ready to buy my first Cooper rifle. Just cant decide between the 221 Fireball or the 20 Vartarg. Both based on the fireball case. To form cases for the Vartarg all I have to do is run them through a sizing die. Who here has owned a Vartarg? Tell me what you think of it.

read this before you buy a Cooper. There are many other sites also if you search.

Post by: carpsniperg2 on May 20, 2011, 06:47:56 PM: Good luck on your purchase. I have been around a few of them and heard lots of things about them. About 50/50 on positive and negative. Seems like some are great guns and others, well are good safe art :chuckle:

Post by: jjhunter on May 20, 2011, 07:01:53 PM: My buddies and I own 5 of them - all phoenominal rifles. Two Phoenix 6.5x284's; one Phoenix .204, one Varminter .204, and one Montana Varminter .204. We've all got customs up to $5K and the Coopers will run with them all day long.
