Live near graham WA. Ive called in a 4 yotes, thinking i just got lucky. Have been struggling haven't had success in about 30 stands. So much conflicting information and ideas out there. Hoping theres someone wanting to pass on their knowledge maybe take a one year predator hunter out. have a good one fellas

I use the cs-24 fox pro, and a closed reed call to redirect or stop a yote, bobby. Not very good with the mouth calls yet. practicing

Keep in mind, until these pups get to a certain age, the adults are not going to get to far from the den. I've watched numerous yotes over the years with their pups, and they keep pretty close to home when they're hunting. Good luck a little later in the summer, then they will come from everywhere. :twocents:

They could dig a hole in a hillside, or burrow in under a dead log. Usually they will have pretty good cover around their hole. Most of the time when I find a den, it's the dirt mound that will be noticed. When the pups hit 4 - 6 weeks you will start to see them venturing further out, till they eventually leave the den for good, then mamma tells them ( you're on your own, run fast and keep your heads low, especially when you see VV and his 22-250.) :chuckle:

Yeah, like that will help them. I can see it now, mamma coyote is telling her pups....Okay run fast and keep your head-splat- :yike:...... :chuckle:
