hey im new to the forum but i just got a new beagle puppy and im wanting to use her for tracking. im from kent but i go to eastern washington university in cheney on the other end of the state for nine months out of the year and im wanting to do some rabbit hunting with her and start training her but i dont know where to go. i would love to have her for fox but being in washington is there any big fox populations to hunt really? if anyone can help me out that would be awesome.

Beagles are way to slow for fox. Fox would have a beagle beat in a race before beagle even opened.

Don't forget Pheasant - Beagles are superb Pheasant Dogs. I have been hunting Pheasants with Beagles for 47 years!

Thought the regs stated you cant use dogs for hunting fox :dunno:
