Title: Porcupine Bay Boat Launch/Spokane Arm
Post by: brifor on May 30, 2011, 05:17:43 PM
Looks like the water level needs to be at 1243' above sea level to launch a boat. It is now 1234'. Will it be at 1243 for the opener, or at least by Thursday night? Can a boat be launched at Porcupine if any less than 1243'? Thanks.

I used to love to shore fish there when the water was low.  Down by the boat launch, cross the feeder creek and walk out a ways, to the red arrows below.  There used to be a big fallen tree over the creek but, that was 12 years ago.  Cast chartruse fuzzy tail jigs tipped with a night crawler as far as you can.  Let it sink to the bottom and slowly walk it back up the drop off.  Walleye galore!!!
