Post by: Maverick on May 31, 2011, 01:17:42 PM: take into consideration mtnmuley that I'm in a float tube and took the pic myself there's no way I could make a 2.5 pound bass look that big when I have to have the bass in close enough to fit both her and myself into the picture. Holding her with my left hand and holding the camera with right hand.

Post by: Black Plague on June 01, 2011, 05:10:46 PM: lol you aint kidding, I never would have guessed that fish to be over 4 lbs ... ...nice fish, its so hard to tell in pics how big a fish is ...and its not easy to guess weight without a scale....now that i have a scale though i always make a guess and then weigh it to check

Here's another from the same day that went 3.7 for reference. Usually try to bring a regular camera and set the timer, but forgot this day. I've got a stand for the camera that is flexible and clips. Use it on tree branches, the boat windshield, etc. If I can find a link for it I'll share it. No more cell phone pics for me.
