Title: A new bird for me
Post by: boneaddict on June 04, 2011, 08:18:56 AM: I was stalking this bird thinking it was one of my oriolles, but then I saw the beak. I'd never seen one before. I'm like whoa that looks like a grosbeak. Googled grosbeak and sure enough...a Black headed Grosbeak.

Post by: steen on June 07, 2011, 04:28:20 PM: They are pretty regular here but only in the late spring and summer, Whatcom County. I saw one with yellow markings instead of orange and never saw one like that before. Didn't look it up or anything.
