Next year I may put in for an elk in one of the 16 units since its so close. I think there was a thread here recently bemoaning how much NM raised non-res prices.

Post by: jmoyer2 on June 04, 2011, 11:51:52 PM: no they just changed the number of tags they issue to non-res. I actually moved from Spokane to Albuquerque last year. NM is ok, I miss Eastern WA though.

That is probably one the best tags in NM. They will not notify you if you don't draw. So if you didn't get an email you probably didnt draw. I struck out for Deer, Elk, and Antelope, and I'm a resident! AAAHHHHH. I called the wife and told her were moving next year to CO :chuckle: :chuckle:
It's not all bad though I'm gonna try to make it home to Spokane for a deer hunt.

I spent 8 days in 36 last year chasing deer. What would you like to know? Please tell me he drew an elk tag there and not a deer tag!
