I agree. That's not the typical mounting you may see. Very nice.

That base looks like the one on the front cover of the McKenzie Taxidermy catalog.

I have been looking at them as well. Are they simple to mount on the shoulder mount? Mount looks great!!

Perky ear'd. Nose and eyes on ya! I like the snow and such, but it's a tough sell with a summer/fall hide. He sure is pretty. Nice work. Nice buck.
