They are due next thursday by 7:00 p.m. (Not postmarked due in their office) Im putting in for coues only. I figure I will get that one out of the way first.

What units did you apply for? Just sent mine in today. I've taken a nice coues, so I put a Kaibab tag first then the late unit 33 tag second. That 33 tag is getting to be a bitch to draw...only 4 NR tags now...but I've got 5 points so figure I might still have a shot. I've also hunted 32 and 36 down there, but spent 7 of the last 8 years in 33 (between rifle, javelina and the archery season), so figured I'd go with what I know best.

I was told not to tell where im putting in for. I guess it is a pretty easy draw and no one puts in for it. My buddy grew up their and moved up here about 16 yrs. ago. He moved back down their last year and is guiding now. His cousin is the #1 guide in AZ for deer and elk. And he is the one that gave me the area to put in for so sorry, I would if I could. I am excited for it though Ive never hunted coues! My buddy shot a 117 a few years back and I guess a kid shot a 124 out of their last year. Both are big coues! After I draw coues then will come the mulies. I dont plan on drawing that so my $150 donation for my license will add up to a $7500 gift by the time I die. Good luck on your draw and let me know if you get it and I will do the same. Do you know when we find out?

No worries, if your buddy is a deer and elk guide, and they're taking pigs like a 117 and 124, I'm guessing they're in the northern units anyway. Unit 33 is a well known, big southern unit, so I don't feel bad about saying what unit I apply in. Now if you asked me what road we take in, that's another story. :chuckle:
Don't discount your odds...they don't square points down there, so everyone's got a decent chance to draw.
