Title: Checked two cameras today
Post by: bobcat on June 11, 2011, 05:58:47 PM
Well I didn't get a lot of pictures but a few good ones. Still not anything that looks like it might turn into a monster sized blacktail buck, so I'm a little disappointed. But still having fun getting pictures of what's out there. I guess it's about time for me to try some sort of bait.

One of the cameras from today is my other Tasco, and these are the first pictures of game I've had from this camera. This one, just like the other one, takes very poor pictures at night. The other camera that I have in the same area, only about 200 yards from the Tasco, is a Moultrie D40, and my Moultries have never had a problem with night time pictures. So that's just one definite drawback to the Tasco's but other than that, I'm happy with their performance. And having only spent $40 for each one, I won't cry too hard if one turns up missing.

I got several pictures of a doe, or does, with the Moultrie, but only one buck:

Oh, and that time should be 10:00 PM, not AM.
