Title: Coweeman late muzzy cow
Post by: WSU on June 14, 2011, 03:14:15 PM
Anyone done it?  My wife drew the tag this year.  I've hunted there for archery and know the road systems and that there are tons of elk, but I'm curious how the hunt is with the gates open and the seasons having been open for 3 months.

You will have no problem finding cows.  I have hunted it a lot in late ML and could kill a cow at close range nearly everyday, if I had the tag.  Legal bulls are another story.
