Title: palouse late buck
Post by: hambone on June 14, 2011, 08:39:36 PM: I drew this tag cant wait i have hunted down there for about 8 years i have seen some big bucks now get a chance to hunt them in the rut. i am usually down there right after reg. season takeing pictures when there is no one down there you see some really nice ones.

Where do you guys all hunt, as in which unit? We hunted in the 142 Almota, and I found some good ground in the Steptoe 139. I have never checked out the 127 or 130.

Im really looking forward to it though. I pretty much strickly hunt 139 and have seen a few good bucks in the area. Theyre out there. Me and a buddy went out saturday night for a little scoutting and saw several good bucks including one nice 4x5. Just out phesant hunting last fall during this late season we saw several good legal bucks. Fall cant get here soon enough!
