Hello Everyone
Today a Smoked Two Sockeye Salmon that my father gave to me I smoked them using alder I just used a basic salt brine on the fish it is Awesome

alder is my favorite wood for any smoke but man its so hard to smoke them reds man they are so tastey !!!!!!!

Make's my mouth water!
We only have three reds left in the freezer, so I can't afford to smoke any until my son sends us some more.
My wife wants to smoke them up anyway...I'm not going to let her see this thread!

The sockeye are going nuts right now here in the river :'( Wish I could go fish. That looks like what I would do to mine :tup:
