I drew a late Teanaway Archery Bull tag this year :IBCOOL:, I have mostly hunted the Elk heights area in the late Archery season where the Elk are always on the move heading to the safe zone or the feeding station. I have hunted Turkeys in Teanaway on private land and have seen plenty of elk but I know it doesn’t have a feeding station so without asking to much info are the Elk mostly territorial depending on pressure & snow fall in Dec or are they mostly migrating or passing through to get somewhere? :dunno:

they are down in the teanaway valley in the fields and on the river...

Thats what I was affraid of, I have a bunch of private land for Turkey but I'm thinking its going to be to high for a December Elk hunt depending on the snow levels of course. Thanks!

my dad got drawn for that two years ago and they were all in the fields by the river.... mainly u go up the teanaway river road i believe and u will see them... 2 weeks ago i say a 6x5 with 15 cows about 80 yards off the road

Thanks, did your dad kill one?
-
no its hard if u dont have permission... so go door knocking... now we own property in the teanaway valley on the teanaway river... so he wishes he would get drawn now lol
