Long walk in, just set some cameras up at a random bottom-like area. No real game trails. You can see the blacktail tracks i found on the way up (biggest I've ever seen). Took a guess on a location. 1 month soak. The month prior to this I captured a rabbit and a rat. This month I fared a little better. In order of appearance the blacktail track, the tree that i hung my cam on (apparently bears and i have the same taste, cause he mauled this tree after I put my cam up), Forest Grouse, Deer, Cougar Cubs, Bear (that attacked my tree), Bobcat, Coyote. Again, I was HOPING to find a few deer. No track, no bait, no scat, just luck and apparently a downed tree that every critter uses as a super highway. What luck! Who knew? :dunno:

Additional pics of the cubs (kittens?) :dunno: And the bear who marked my tree and then fogged my cam!
-
Another of the Bobcat, Wil E Coyote a REAL close chipmunk and some various deer from my other spots (from last year).

Boy, what a great place to have set up your cam. Nice pics.
-
:twocents: Those first kitties are juvenile cougars.......... no bob tail there. That's one active log.
