Title: East Side Washington Predator Hunting Association Meeting scheduling
Post by: btlsoom on June 21, 2011, 09:43:32 PM: Well, we have enough interest in the expansion so we are scheduling a meeting for the Washington Predator Hunting Association somewhere in the central state area. So far we have had Eburg, Moses Lake, Wenatchee, Tricities, Othello and Processor just to mention some...

The tentative date set for this is Saturday, August 13th. The usual meeting is 12:00 noon and usually lasts about 2 hrs IF we have a speaker and if not, it varies depending on what has to be covered.

Many of the West side folks will be attending and will possibly camp some where close to the meeting location.

So, if you are on the East side and would be interested in attending to see what we are, what we have done and how we as a combined unit, can accomplish so much more, please let me know your place of preference would be and we will see what we can do to set a location in that area..

Post by: Wenatcheejay on June 24, 2011, 08:42:23 AM: I don't want to speak out of turn but would it be a good idea (if it has not been done) for people in each potential meeting place to find sutable buildings to put on the seminar & or see if people require accomdations (so we can have a hotel with a rate?) And think about resterants that could accomodate people to meet up at? (Just a thought.)

Oops-- hit the "post" button by mistake! I just wanted to say that when I was a delegate to the District Council of Carpenters, we held the meetings ion the airport terminal building in Moses Lake. Nice big meeting hall, and was centrally located to Yakima, Pasco, and Wenatchee areas. I'll sure try to make it.

Post by: btlsoom on June 28, 2011, 02:22:57 PM: Maveric: First we will be introducing the Washington Predator Hunting Association members that are coming from the west side to everyone that attends followed by what we are, what we have done, what we would like to do, how we can keep the east and west coordinated as a unified body, upcoming activities and events and how we can coordinate events on the east side as well.
Current members coming to the east side are our WDFW liaison, our resident skinning adviser (and VP) and several members.

Other than that, we will cover what I call "general" association business and discuss what ever comes up. We really want to make this a voice of the state and together we can accomplish this..

Does anybody know of a place we can meet? I have one of the airport. Any other suggestions? Again, looking at Saturday the 13th at 12:00.

Possibilities:

Sports store with large room, library, Elks or Eagles Lodge, camp ground with community center, some body with a big garage.. :dunno: I am open for all suggestions..

Just to clarify.
The end goal is to have chapters or regions around the state. A single central eastern Wa. meeting place is a good place to start. But we are hoping to gain some east side members wanting to head up more localized meetings, and seminars.
