As clubs we need to try to "think around" the state. Way too often we're limiting peoples ability to attend more events by cross scheduling. Doesn't help anyone and only divides an already dwindling sport. Case in point are the events this coming weekend. Lower Columbia, Evergreen and I heard even another out on the Peninsula.

Let me double check but, I think the August 20 is PSLRA's Hunt test and following weekend is RHRC's.....I think an HRC is even going on again one of those weekends or there was talk of something.

I hear what your saying...  and we try our best not to coincide with other club's...   Our trouble is ..is that we run, AKC, HRC, NASTRA, ALPA, NAHRA, and  Super Singles....  almost a good thing we quit the National Bird Dog Challange. And now with HRC club's springing up everywhere...   someones always gonna be stepping on some other club's toes. All we can do is do our best not to set dates with the closer clubs.

whoops, off one...I should have looked, PSLRA's the 20th. Maybe this winter we can start sharing some emails across the state or even try to have a meeting and discuss helping each other out and not overlapping if possible. More organizing we do the better for everyone playing dog games.
