Drew one of the units with a November 1st-15th season in a nameless unit. ;) Not a general area tag.

I've always planned on eventually getting into hunting Wyoming. Will have to check in with you all for pointers when the time comes. Congrats on the tags!

It really depends on where you apply. Some of the coveted units are hard to get. If you look at Wyoming Fish and Game, you can find the same stuff as WDFW does regarding application results. There are a lot of areas that have more private property on them so there is a lot of tags that do not get sold. Some areas will have 1000 tags and only sell like 300. I would say look at all the areas and found out how you want to hunt them and where.

I had max points for deer which I think was 5pts. And my group for antelope we averaged 2pts.

Jason... that is a good unit. I hunted it last year. Our group went 4 for 4 in 5 days and did'nt get more than 3 miles from my Buddies cabin. Also saw moose, elk, and tons of lopes in the same area. A huge variety of terrain. Gorgeous country! Hope to apply for elk next year. Good luck!!I have been hunting down there for awhile now and I love it
