Title: west of big lake area... 407 scouting
Post by: EAS on June 26, 2011, 12:33:05 PM: question, i have a friend that owns land on the west side of Big Lake unit 407... I plan on scouting it a bit, but anyone know of whats moving in that area? i know his land backs up to state land that has the towers on it... i was thinkin of scouting for a possible archery hunt.

Post by: youngbull on June 26, 2011, 06:10:41 PM: Scout it out look for sign. Most land holds at least small population of deer. Some small areas will surprise.

Post by: head hunter on June 27, 2011, 07:16:58 AM: I would be carefull there is a guy who owns and alot of land in the middle of the DNR and he is not tooo hunter friendly.
