Sounds like a good deal. I've got a Vanguard in 30-06, and I've got a Leupold 3.5-10 on another rifle. You can't go wrong with either one. The only thing you might want to do to it, is to change to a Timney trigger. The stock trigger on mine couldn't be adjusted to less than 4 1/2 pounds so I had a Timney trigger installed and now it's at 2 1/4. That was about $120. But you should be able to get by just fine for a while with the stock trigger. I also changed the stock on mine to a Bell & Carlson, but again, that's something that can be done later if you choose to.

Quit waiting and buy it. I have 300WM dies and brass you can pick up with a smile and handshake(NO$). PM and it will happen.

Well I went and put 200.00 down and two more payments of 200.00 dollars over the next month or so and I will be shooting my new 300 mag. Thanks for the help and direction on this. There are so many weapons out there anymore it can make decision making a challenge and you guys made it easy.

well you made a good choice. congratulations.

Congrats on the new rifle Joe. I'll bet the new price of that scope is about what you paid for both. Post a pic of the rig after you get it and let us know how it shoots.

I will, I would have posted a pic today, but I did the CC card transaction over the phone. I am looking forward to dialing it in, and then hunting bear with it on the opener, even though where I hunt bear they are a bit on the small size and a bit close, like under 100 yds................oh well it will feel good to shoot a big bore again.
Thanks
