So I was supposed to go to Montana to do some scouting in early June. Postponed that until August because of flooding. So I took a quick trip to the Methow valley and saw a lot of wildlife in two days. I did a little coyote hunting and did call 2 in....that was a first for me and really cool to see them running in. Unfortunatley I did not get photos of them.....I learned a few things though about coyote hunting. Let them get close! And you need a good rest.......... Anyways I thought it was better late than never to post these.

LOL Plateau. He took about 5 bounds away from me then just hit the deck! He squished his body so tight to the ground! I got to about 15 feet from him. He was breathing like mad and I could see him staring at me out of the corner of his eye! I was assuring him as I was taking pictures that I was not going to eat him! lol

Now that's an 600lb bear if it was on KIRO news. He looked like a big, big one. Cool.
