OK folks, we have a meeting location, and it should be air conditioned. :)
We will be meeting at the Moses Lake Fire Department in their Multi-purpose room on August 13th (Saturday). We have the room reserved from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p/m. We have to set the room and clear the room but I think we can manage that. This is a free room for non-profits, used by many organization. Should be a good location.
The address is:
MOSES LAKE FIRE DEPARTMENT
701 E. 3rd AVENUE
MOSES LAKE, WA. 98837
(509) 765-2204
Hope this works for everyone... :dunno:

Sounds good Randy.
-
Looking forward to it. :)

Great! I get back from New England on the 9th, so it works for me.
-
Sounds great. Don't forget to bump this thread up the week before. Some of us have CRS syndrome. :chuckle:
-
Uh, guys-it would be nice if folks would realize, Moses Lake is just about Smack-dab CENTER of the state, not "East".
Folks around that area are from "Central" Washington.
Either way, hope its a great meeting, with some good feedback.
-
. Yes Moses lake is about halfway between Seattle and Spokaneso it would seen to be in the central part of the state but WA starts about 100 miles west of seattle so for me that puts ML in eastern WA. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone at the east/cenrtal Wa meeting
I'll be camping down there on Friday if anyone is in the area and wants to get together.

Moses Lake is east of the Cascades, which puts it in Eastern Washington. Maybe not Far-Eastern Washington, but it's a good start. Besides, if it was in Spokane, that would mean a trip to Cabelas, and I can't afford that right now! :chuckle:
-
Wished I could go, but probably be busy right then. :bash:
-
If I can sneak away from work , I'll be there.
Maybe try the next one, a little more east, if possiable.
-
AWS: I too am going to be camping in the area. Not having been there before, any suggestions?
Looking forward to meeting you all ..

Just throwing a reminder out there early so everyone will remember the August 13th meeting of the Washington PHA in Moses Lake. If anyone has a specific topic of interest other than learning about us.. let me know. This is an intro session and we currently do not have any special presentation planned but Hmmmmmm. . . .
I will be bringing a few door prize items though..

Another FYI, in case anybody comes out early. I will be camping in the Pier 4 resort Sunrise Resort campground. I will be getting there Friday evening so stop by and have a cool beverage and say "HI" Friday or Saturday. :chuckle:

Never been to one of these, is it a meet and greet?
-
RECON321: Well, you might call it that but it is going to be more of an informational gathering. Our intent is to explain what we have accomplished over the last year here on the west side and show how we can do more as a whole state voice. We will hopefully get a lot done and have some fun doing it. Hope to see you there.

Yea, I just checked the weather for Saturday the 13th. It says 90 degrees. I think asphalt melts at 75 degrees :yike: I melt at 70. But I do have Miller Lite afterwards... :chuckle:
I am really looking forward to the meeting there. It sounds like there are going to be quite a few of us there.
Jerry: Are you coming?
Anybody want to do a late afternoon hunt on Saturday. . :dunno:

I'll bring my gear for hunting, and may well join in on a hunt.

I won't be going to Moses Lake today after all. My wife laid the trump card on the table last night and said we must visit her father today. No bad health or anything, he's just 94!
I was looking forward to meeting folks, and maybe sitting on a few stands on the way home.

It was a good meeting, for a first time event. I couldn't stick around due to a dinner commitment, but maybe next time. Cooler weather would be better for a hunt anyhow. I doubt if any self-respecting coyotes would be out in this heat. :chuckle:

HEREDOG: Thanks for taking the time to attend. I hope I was able to answer your concerns and questions. If yo have any more, get with me...
