Went blackberry picking and found lot of blackberry vines, but with no berries. We did find the occasional spot with a few berries. About 75% of them were still green. Saw quite a bit of red huckleberry yesterday while checking my trail cameras, and ate a few. Also a few ripe salmon berries. But it looks like it's going to be a pretty lean year as far as berries go.

Hey Bobcat, I was over in your neck of the woods yesterday. I was driving back from Ocean Shores to Walla Walla and headed south from Aberdeen to Artic then headed east on the Artic Rd through Vesta and Brooklyn and ended up coming out at Centralia. Very pretty country. We saw lots of red elderberry. I figured that to be some good bear country.
