Post by: seth30 on July 24, 2011, 05:43:42 PM
Any one ever use it for yotes, tell me the good and bad.  I am thinking about buying some for yote hunting from a stand.   Thanks for reading the post :IBCOOL:

I bought a bag of that when I first started predator hunting.  It is very strong and smells just like guts.  I was using it in conjunction with calling and called in a coyote and a bobcat but dont know if the smell had anything to do with it.  I just dipped a branch into the bag near the call.  I know I could smell the open bag from a ways away so I know a predator could smell it a long ways off.

For a test I dipped a dead branch in some of it and left it leaned against a tree once when I came back the branch was still there.  :dunno:  Dont know if that proves anything though.  I dont have a trailcam but always wanted to try it as bait.

Kain thanks for the info, after elk season is over and I switch back to yotes I plan on using it.
